Employee of the Year 2008

During the New Year’s gathering in January 2009, director/owner of the Ter Haak Group Richard ter Haak announced that Ilona Lohmuller had been chosen as Employee of the Year 2008. The nominees for this award are staff whose efforts, collegiality, loyalty and creativity have been especially important to the Ter Haak Group.

The New Year gathering is the ideal time to wish all Ter Haak employees the best for the year ahead. In his speech, Richard ter Haak reflected on 2008 and revealed his expectations and plans for 2009. He underlined the fact that these turbulent times are no reason for defeatism: The strength of the Ter Haak Group lies in working hard, adapting to market changes and providing a wide array of services. Before raising a joint toast to a healthy, optimistic and favourable 2009, Ter Haak thanked all employees for their individual efforts and enthusiasm.

As Employee of the Year 2008, Ilona Lohmuller was described by her colleagues as a social, driven and involved employee. “She is a constant factor in the company, the initiator of our general and technical services department, versatile, always willing to take on the tasks at hand or provide support wherever she can. An Employee of the Year if there ever was one," added Richard ter Haak as he presented the somewhat overwhelmed winner with a bouquet and gift voucher.  Milli Lagerweij
