Major increase in capacity at Ter Haak Logistics

On 1 January 2010, Ter Haak Logistics (THL), part of the Ter Haak Group, will expand its capacity with an 18,000 m² distribution centre in the modern Atlas Park industrial estate in Amsterdam’s western port area. The Atlas Park is conveniently located with regards to the seaport region, being just seven kilometres from the centre of Amsterdam, 15 kilometres north of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and close to THL’s deep-sea, short-sea and inland shipping terminal.

The new distribution centre has a total warehouse capacity of 33,000 pallet places with a height of 10.5 metres. It is made up of 1,855 m² of mezzanine (the floor of which has a load capacity of 1,000 kg/m²), 500 m² of office space and a 58 m² cleaning area. The development incorporates top quality materials and the very latest safety measures, ensuring the best possible goods storage facilities. The distribution centre can be used for the (temporary) storage of mixed cargo, building materials, fine products and other goods. Modern packing machinery guarantees an efficient conversion of incoming goods into outgoing products. The 25 dock shelters increase the level of flexibility and transport efficiency.
